Prior to co-founding Pivot Investment Partners, Mr. Poonawala was Managing Director and Regional Head for the Americas of Deutsche Bank Global Transaction Banking and led the growth of this business to over $1 billion of revenues in cash management, Trade Finance, and Trust & Securities Services. He shares deep experience in markets where information, technology and scalable processes are critical drivers of success.
Mr. Poonawala is a Chartered Financial Analyst with an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business, an MBA in Marketing, and an undergraduate degree in Advanced Accounting from Poona University in India. Mr. Poonawala serves as the Chairman for the Aga Khan Economic Planning Board for United States (AKEPB) and assumed his role as Chairman of the Chamber Board in July 2015.

Salman Bhojani, Board Member

Mr. Bhojani is the Managing Partner at Bhojani & Nelson, PLLC, a full-service corporate law firm and a title company. Prior to founding his law firm, Salman practiced real estate and corporate law at an international corporate law firm called Haynes and Boone, LLP. Salman has a Juris Doctor from SMU, a BS in Busi. Admin. from Univ. of Texas, and a Comparative Law diploma from the Oxford University. In addition to being a lawyer, Salman is an astute entrepreneur and over the past 15 years, has owned and operated several successful business ventures in industries such as real estate, retail, and convenience and fuel.

Mr. Amyn Alidina is the Founder and President of Crown Global Investments, a national leader in the travel and hospitality industry. Through his vision and passion for excellence, he has transformed Crown Global Investments into a nationally recognized and respected firm. Mr. Alidina is a seasoned entrepreneur with expertise and portfolios ranging from real estate, telecommunications, manufacturing, and hospitality. Amyn holds a MBA in Actuarial Science from Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Amyn was the Chairman for the Aga Khan Economic Planning Board for the Southeast USA. He is also a founding member of the American Ismaili Chamber of Commerce.
Abid Hassan, Board Member
COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER/INVESTOR AT REGENT GROUP
Mr. Hassan is a commercial real estate investor and developer with Regent Group, and is also a developer for gasoline wholesalers and retailers with the 7-Eleven franchise in addition to providing Property & Casualty insurance. Mr. Hassan received his BBA in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). In his free time, Mr. Hassan volunteers with the Aga Khan Economic Planning Board. He is also a founding member of the American Ismaili Chamber of Commerce and serves on the DGIC Board Of Directors.
Tajddin Momin, Board Member

Mr. Tajddin Momin is an entrepreneur based in Houston who owns and operates Oasis, a successful chain of convenience stores. His professional experience includes retail operations, hospitality, as well as real estate. In prior years, Mr. Momin served as the president and director of the Greater Houston Retailers’ Association (GHRA). In his free time, he volunteers as a resource mobilization officer.
Sabreena Hakemy, Board Member

Sabreena is the Vice Chairman & Director of Spectra Bank, a community bank in Dallas, Tx.
She is the President of Next Gen USA Marketing & Management, LLC a brand promotion & marketing company and the President of Next Gen USA Merchant Services, a company that facilitates credit card processing solutions for small to mid sized retailers.
Prior to this Sabreena was in Dubai, UAE from 2014-2016 constructing and selling Residential Real Estate. She formerly worked with Delta Airlines, as a Marketing Director for 6 years, where she helped create marketing strategies for International Routes, trained and managed Sales teams and was Delta Reserve Officer on the Emergency Response Team for North America.
Currently, Sabreena is the Business Services Member on the National Economic Planning Board, USA and also serves on the Board of Directors for the American Ismaili Chamber of Commerce.
